Surreality exhibition

This exhibition was a collaborative project that my Wayne State University Senior Studio classmates and I put together. Located at Popp’s Packing in Hamtramck, Michigan in December 2019, the exhibition included different mediums of work that explored moments of subconscious human thought and Surrealist practice. I was fortunate enough to get to design the identity and poster for the event.
For my personal exhibition project, I decided to create two Surrealist-inspired collages and transfer them onto view master reels. Made from magazine clippings, the scenes were full of color and wacky imagery. By limiting the audience's eyes to what's inside the view master, they were invited to explore an altered reality.
